Jaakobin hautaus. Joosefin kuolema.

1. Ja Joosef vaipui isänsä kasvoja vasten, itki siinä kumartuneena hänen ylitsensä ja suuteli häntä.

3 And forty days were fulfilled for him, because so are fulfilled the days of embalming. And the Egyptians wept for him seventy days.

4 Когда же прошли дни плача по нем, Иосиф сказал придворным фараона, говоря: если я обрел благоволение в очах ваших, то скажите фараону так:

5 My father made me swear, saying, Behold, I die. In my grave which I have dug for me in the land of Canaan, there will you bury me. Now therefore let me go up, I beseech you and bury my father and I will come again.

5. Mein Vater hat einen Eid von mir genommen und gesagt: Siehe, ich sterbe; begrabe mich in meinem Grabe, das ich mir im Lande Kanaan gegraben habe. So will ich nun hinaufziehen und meinen Vater begraben und wiederkommen.

6. Farao vastasi: Mene hautaamaan isäsi sen valan mukaan, jonka olet hänelle vannonut.

8 и весь дом Иосифа, и братья его, и дом отца его. Только детей своих и мелкий и крупный скот свой оставили в земле Гесем.

10 И дошли они до Горен-гаатада при Иордане и плакали там плачем великим и весьма сильным; и сделал Иосиф плач по отце своем семь дней.

11. Ja kun maan asukkaat, kanaanilaiset, näkivät surujuhlan Gooren-Aatadissa, sanoivat he: Siellä on egyptiläisillä suuri surujuhla. Siitä sai paikka nimekseen Aabel-Misraim; se on Jordanin tuolla puolella.

11 And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, This is a grievous mourning to the Egyptians. Therefore the name of it was called Abel-mizraim, which is beyond the Jordan.

11. Und da die Leute im Lande, die Kanaaniter, die Klage bei der Tenne Atad sahen, sprachen sie: Die Ägypter halten da große Klage. Daher heißt man den Ort: Der Ägypter Klage, welcher liegt jenseit des Jordans.

11. Y viendo los moradores de la tierra, los Cananeos, el llanto en la era de Atad, dijeron: Llanto grande es este de los Egipcios: por eso fué llamado su nombre Abel-mizraim, que es de la otra parte del Jordán.

11 И видели жители земли той, Хананеи, плач в Горен-гаатаде, и сказали: велик плач этот у Египтян! Посему наречено имя месту тому:плач Египтян, что при Иордане.

12. Ja hänen poikansa tekivät hänelle, niinkuin hän oli määrännyt heille:

13 и отнесли его сыновья его в землю Ханаанскую и похоронили его в пещере на поле Махпела, которую купил Авраам с полем в собственность для погребения у Ефрона Хеттеянина, пред Мамре.

14. Senjälkeen kuin Joosef oli haudannut isänsä, palasi hän Egyptiin, hän ja hänen veljensä sekä kaikki, jotka hänen kanssaan olivat menneet hautaamaan hänen isäänsä.

14 And Joseph returned into Egypt, he and his brothers and all who went up with him to bury his father, after he had buried his father.

14 И возвратился Иосиф в Египет, сам и братья его и все ходившие с ним хоронить отца его, после погребения им отца своего.

15 And when Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, It may be that Joseph will hate us and will fully requite us all the evil which we did to him.

15. Die Brüder aber Josephs fürchteten sich, da ihr Vater gestorben war, und sprachen: Joseph möchte uns Gram sein und vergelten alle Bosheit, die wir an ihm getan haben.

15. Y viendo los hermanos de José, que su padre era muerto, dijeron: Quizá nos aborrecerá José, y nos dará el pago de todo el mal que le hicimos.

15 И увидели братья Иосифовы, что умер отец их, и сказали: что, если Иосиф возненавидит нас и захочет отмстить нам за все зло,которое мы ему сделали?

16. Niin he lähettivät Joosefille tämän sanan: Isäsi käski ennen kuolemaansa ja sanoi:

16 And they sent a message to Joseph, saying, Your father commanded before he died, saying,

16. Darum ließen sie ihm sagen: Dein Vater befahl vor seinem Tod und sprach:

16 И послали они сказать Иосифу: отец твой пред смертью своею завещал, говоря:

17. Sanokaa Joosefille näin: Oi, anna anteeksi veljiesi rikos ja synti, sillä pahasti he ovat menetelleet sinua kohtaan.' Anna siis isäsi Jumalan palvelijoille anteeksi heidän rikoksensa. Ja Joosef itki kuullessaan nämä heidän sanansa.

17. Niin sanokaat Josephille: minä rukoilen, anna nyt veljilles anteeksi heidän rikoksensa ja pahatekonsa, että he niin pahoin ovat tehneet sinua vastaan. Anna nyt anteeksi, sinun isäs Jumalan palveliain pahateko. Mutta Joseph itki heidän näitä puhuissansa.

17 So will you* say to Joseph, Forgive, I beseech you now, the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did to you evil. And now, please, forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father. And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

17. So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

17. Also sollt ihr Joseph sagen: Vergib doch deinen Brüdern die Missetat und ihre Sünde, daß sie so übel an dir getan haben. So vergib doch nun diese Missetat uns, den Dienern des Gottes deines Vaters. Aber Joseph weinte, da sie solches mit ihm redeten.

17. Así diréis a José: Ruégote que perdones ahora la maldad de tus hermanos, y su pecado, porque mal te galardonaron: por tanto ahora rogámoste que perdones la maldad de los siervos del Dios de tu padre. Y José lloró mientras le hablaban.

17 так скажите Иосифу: прости братьям твоим вину и грех их, так какони сделали тебе зло. И ныне прости вины рабов Бога отца твоего. Иосиф плакал, когда ему говорили это.

18. Sitten tulivat Joosefin veljet itse, lankesivat maahan hänen eteensä ja sanoivat: Katso, me olemme sinun orjiasi!

18. Y vinieron también sus hermanos; y postráronse delante de él, y dijeron: Hénos aquí por tus siervos.

18 Пришли и сами братья его, и пали пред лицем его, исказали: вот, мы рабы тебе.

19. Mutta Joosef vastasi heille: Älkää peljätkö, olenko minä Jumalan sijassa?

19. Joseph sanoi heille: älkäät peljätkö; sillä minä olen Jumalan käden alla.

19 And Joseph said to them, Do not fear, because am I in the place of God?

19. Joseph sprach zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch nicht, denn ich bin unter Gott.

19. Y respondióles José: No tengáis miedo: ¿Soy yo en lugar de Dios?

19 И сказал Иосиф: не бойтесь, ибо я боюсь Бога;

20. Te tosin hankitsitte minua vastaan pahaa, mutta Jumala on kääntänyt sen hyväksi, että hän saisi aikaan sen, mikä nyt on tapahtunut, ja pitäisi hengissä paljon kansaa.

20. Te ajattelitte minua vastaan pahaa; mutta Jumala on ajatellut sen hyväksi, että hän tekis, niinkuin nyt nähtävä on, pelastaaksensa paljo kansaa.

20. Te ajattelitte minua wastan paha mutta Jumala on käändänyt sen hywäxi että hän tekis cuin nähtäwä on pelastaxens paljo Canssa.

20 And as for you*, you* meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.

20. But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

20. Ihr gedachtet's böse mit mir zu machen; aber Gott gedachte es gut zu machen, daß er täte, wie es jetzt am Tage ist, zu erhalten viel Volks.

20. Vosotros pensasteis mal sobre mí; mas Dios lo pensó por bien, para hacer lo que hoy vemos, para dar vida a mucho pueblo.

20 вот, вы умышляли против меня зло; но Бог обратил это в добро, чтобы сделать то, что теперь есть: сохранить жизнь великому числу людей;

21 итак не бойтесь: я буду питать вас и детей ваших. Иуспокоил их и говорил по сердцу их.

22. Ja Joosef sekä hänen isänsä perhe jäivät asumaan Egyptiin. Ja Joosef eli sadan kymmenen vuoden vanhaksi.

23 And Joseph saw Ephraim's sons of the third generation. Also the sons of Machir the son of Manasseh were born upon Joseph's knees.

23. und sah Ephraims Kinder bis ins dritte Glied. Auch wurden dem Machir, Manasses Sohn, Kinder geboren auf den Schoß Josephs.

23. Y vió José de Efraim los hijos terceros: también los hijos de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, fueron criados sobre las rodillas de José.

23 И видел Иосиф детей у Ефрема до третьего рода, также и сыновья Махира, сына Манассиина, родились на колени Иосифа.

24. Niin Joosef sanoi veljilleen: Minä kuolen, mutta Jumala pitää huolen teistä ja johdattaa teidät tästä maasta siihen maahan, jonka hän valalla vannoen on luvannut Aabrahamille, Iisakille ja Jaakobille.

24 And Joseph said to his brothers, I die, but God will surely visit you* and bring you* up out of this land to the land which he swore to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob.

24. Und Joseph sprach zu seinen Brüdern: Ich sterbe, und Gott wird euch heimsuchen und aus diesem Lande führen in das Land, das er Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen hat.

24. Y José dijo a sus hermanos: Yo me muero; mas Dios visitando os visitará: y os hará subir de aquesta tierra a la tierra, que juró a Abraham, a Isaac, y a Jacob.

24 И сказал Иосиф братьям своим: я умираю, но Бог посетит вас и выведет вас из земли сей в землю, о которой клялся Аврааму, Исааку и Иакову.

25. Ja Joosef vannotti Israelin poikia sanoen: Kun Jumala pitää huolen teistä, viekää silloin minun luuni täältä.

25 And Joseph took an oath of the sons of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you* and you* will carry up my bones from here.
