Jaakobin ja Eesaun sovinto. Jaakob asettuu Sikemiin.

1. Kun Jaakob nosti silmänsä ja katseli, niin katso, Eesau oli tulossa, neljäsataa miestä mukanaan. Silloin hän jakoi lapset Leealle, Raakelille ja molemmille orjattarille.

1 And Jacob lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, Esau was coming and four hundred men with him. And he divided the children to Leah and to Rachel and to the two handmaids.

1. Y ALZANDO Jacob sus ojos miró, y, he aquí, venía Esaú, y los cuatrocientos hombres con él: entónces él repartió los niños entre Lia y Raquel, y las dos siervas:

4. Mutta Eesau riensi häntä vastaan ja sulki hänet syliinsä, halasi häntä kaulasta ja suuteli häntä; ja he itkivät.

5. Ja hän nosti silmänsä ja näki vaimot ja lapset ja kysyi: Keitä ovat nämä, jotka ovat sinun seurassasi? Hän vastasi: Ne ovat minun lapseni, jotka Jumala on palvelijallesi lahjoittanut.

5. Ja hän nosti silmänsä, ja näki vaimot ja lapset, ja sanoi: kutka nämät kanssas ovat? Hän vastasi: ne ovat lapset, jotka Jumala on lahjoittanut sinun palvelialles.

5 And he lifted up his eyes and saw the women and the children and said, Who are these with you? And he said, The children whom God has graciously given your servant.

5. And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.

5. Und er hob seine Augen auf und sah die Weiber mit den Kindern und sprach: Wer sind diese bei dir? Er antwortete: Es sind Kinder, die Gott deinem Knecht beschert hat.

5. Y alzó sus ojos, y vió las mujeres, y los niños, y dijo: ¿Qué te han estos? Y él respondió: Son los niños que Dios ha dado a tu siervo.

6. Niin orjattaret lähestyivät lapsineen ja kumartuivat maahan.

6 Then the handmaids came near, they and their children and they bowed themselves.

7. Myöskin Leea lapsineen lähestyi, ja he kumartuivat maahan. Viimein lähestyivät Joosef ja Raakel ja kumartuivat maahan.

7 подошла и Лия и дети ее и поклонились; наконец подошли Иосиф и Рахиль и поклонились.

8. Sitten hän kysyi: Mitä tarkoitit kaikella sillä joukolla, jonka minä kohtasin? Hän vastasi: Saada armon herrani silmien edessä.

8. Ja hän sanoi: mitäs tahdot kaiken sen joukon kanssa, kuin minä kohdannut olen? Hän vastasi: löytääkseni armoa minun herrani edessä.

8. Ja hän sanoi: mitäs tahdot caiken tämän joucon cansa cuin minä cohdannut olen? hän wastais: löytäxeni armo minun Herrani edes.

8 And he said, What do you mean by all this company which I met? And he said, To find favor in the sight of my lord.

8. And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.

8. Und er sprach: Was willst du mit all dem Heere, dem ich begegnet bin? Er antwortete: Daß ich Gnade fände vor meinem Herrn.

8. Y él dijo: ¿Qué te ha todo este escuadron que he encontrado? Y él respondió: Porque hallase gracia en los ojos de mi señor.

8 И сказал Исав: для чего у тебя это множество, которое я встретил? И сказал Иаков: дабыприобрести благоволение в очах господина моего.

9. Mutta Eesau sanoi: Minulla on itselläni kyllin; pidä, veljeni, omasi!

9. Ja Esau sanoi: minulla on kyllä, minun veljeni, pidä omas.

9. Ja Esau sanoi: minulla on kyllä minun weljen pidä omas.

9 And Esau said, I have enough, my brother, let what you have be yours.

9. And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.

9. Esau sprach: Ich habe genug, mein Bruder; behalte was du hast.

9. Y dijo Esaú: Harto tengo yo, hermano mío; sea para tí lo que es tuyo.

9 Исав сказал: у меня много, брат мой; пусть будет твое у тебя.

10. Jaakob vastasi: Ei niin; jos olen saanut armon sinun silmiesi edessä, niin ota minulta vastaan lahjani; sillä olenhan saanut nähdä sinun kasvosi, niinkuin nähdään Jumalan kasvot, ja sinä olet ottanut minut suosiollisesti vastaan.

10. Niin Jakob vastasi: ei niin, mutta jos minä olen löytänyt armon sinun edessäs, niin ota minun lahjani minun kädestäni: sillä minä näin sinun kasvos, niinkuin minä olisin nähnyt Jumalan kasvot; ettäs olet minut hyväksi ottanut.

10 And Jacob said, No, I beseech you, if now I have found favor in your sight, then receive my present at my hand, inasmuch as I have seen your face, as any man would see the face of God and you were pleased with me.

10. And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.

10. Jakob antwortete: Ach, nicht! Habe ich Gnade gefunden vor dir, so nimm mein Geschenk von meiner Hand; denn ich sah dein Angesicht, als sähe ich Gottes Angesicht; und laß dir's wohl gefallen von mir.

10. Y dijo Jacob: No, yo te ruego; Si he ahora hallado gracia en tus ojos, toma mi presente de mi mano; que por eso he visto tu rostro, como quien ve el rostro de Dios; y házme placer.

10 Иаков сказал: нет, если я приобрел благоволение в очах твоих, прими дар мой от руки моей, ибо я увидел лице твое, как бы кто увидел лицеБожие, и ты был благосклонен ко мне;

11. Ota siis tervehdyslahjani, joka sinulle tuotiin, sillä Jumala on ollut minulle armollinen, ja minulla on yllin kyllin kaikkea. Ja hän pyysi häntä pyytämällä, kunnes hän otti sen.

11. Ota siis se siunaus, jonka minä olen tuonut sinulle: sillä Jumala on sen minulle antanut, ja minulla on kyllä kaikkinaista. Niin hän vaati häntä ottamaan.

11. Ota sijs se siunaus jonga minä olen tuonut sinulle: sillä Jumala on sen minulle andanut ja minulla on kyllä caickinaista. Nijn hän waadei händä ottaman.

11 I beseech you, take my gift that is brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me and because I have enough. And he urged him and he took it.

11. Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it.

11. Nimm doch den Segen von mir an, den ich dir zugebracht habe; denn Gott hat mir's beschert, und ich habe alles genug. Also nötigte er ihn, daß er's nahm.

11. Toma ahora mi bendición que te es traida, porque Dios me ha hecho merced, y todo lo que hay aquí es mío. Y porfió con él, y tomólo.

11 прими благословение мое, которое я принес тебе, потому что Бог даровал мне, и есть у меня все. И упросил его, и тот взял

12. Sitten Eesau sanoi: Lähtekäämme liikkeelle ja vaeltakaamme eteenpäin; minä vaellan sinun edelläsi.

12. Ja (Esau) sanoi: lähtekäämme jo matkustamaan, minä vaellan sinun kanssas.

12. JA Esau sanoi: lähtekäm jo matcustaman minä waellan sinun cansas.

12 And he said, Let us take our journey and let us go and I will go before you.

12. And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.

12. Und er sprach: Laß uns fortziehen und reisen, ich will mit dir ziehen.

12. Y dijo: Anda, y vamos: y yo iré delante de tí.

12 и сказал: поднимемся и пойдем; и я пойду пред тобою.

13. Mutta Jaakob sanoi hänelle: Herrani näkee itse, että lapset ovat pieniä ja että minulla on imettäviä lampaita ja lehmiä mukanani; jos näitä ajaa kiivaasti päivänkään, kuolee koko lauma.

13. Niin hän sanoi hänelle: minun herrani tietää minulla olevan pieniä lapsia, ja imettäväisiä lampaita ja karjaa: jos ne yhtenä päivänä äkisti ajettaisiin, niin kuolis lauma.

13. Nijn hän sanoi hänelle: minun Herran tietä minulla olewan pieniä lapsia ja imettäwäisiä lambaita ja carja jos ne yhtenä päiwänä äkist ajetaisin nijn cuolis coco lauma.

13 And he said to him, My lord knows that the children are tender and that the flocks and herds with me have their young and if they overdrive them one day, all the flocks will die.

13. And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.

13. Er aber sprach zu ihm: Mein Herr, du erkennest, daß ich zarte Kinder bei mir habe, dazu säugende Schafe und Kühe; wenn sie einen Tag übertrieben würden, würde mir die ganze Herde sterben.

13. Y él le dijo: Mi señor sabe que los niños son tiernos, y que tengo ovejas y vacas paridas: y si las fatigan, en un día morirán todas las ovejas.

13 Иаков сказал ему: господин мой знает, что дети нежны, а мелкий икрупный скот у меня дойный: если погнать его один день,то помрет весь скот;

14. Kulkekoon siis herrani palvelijansa edellä; minä seuraan hiljalleen jäljessä, sen mukaan kuin karja, jota kuljetan, ja lapset jaksavat käydä, kunnes saavun herrani luo Seiriin.

14. Niin menkään minun herrani palveliansa edellä: mutta minä seuraan hiljaksensa senjälkeen kuin karja ja lapset käydä voivat, siihenasti kuin minä tulen minun herrani tykö Seiriin.

14. Nijn mengän minun Herran hänen palwelians edellä mutta minä seuran hiljaxens senjälken cuin carja ja lapset käydä woiwat sijhenasti cuin minä tulen minun Herrani tygö Seirijn.

14 I beseech you,let my lord pass over before his servant and I will lead on gently, according to the pace of the cattle that are before me and according to the pace of the children, until I come to my lord to Seir.

14. Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.

14. Mein Herr ziehe vor seinem Knechte hin. Ich will gemächlich hintennach treiben, nach dem das Vieh und die Kinder gehen können, bis daß ich komme zu meinem Herrn nach Seir.

14. Pase ahora mi señor delante de su siervo; y yo me iré de mi espacio al paso de la hacienda, que va delante de mí, y al paso de los niños, hasta que llegue a mi señor a Seir.

14 пусть господин мой пойдет впереди раба своего, а япойду медленно, как пойдет скот, который предо мною, и как пойдут дети, и приду к господину моему в Сеир.

15. Eesau vastasi: Minä jätän luoksesi osan väestäni. Hän sanoi: Minkätähden niin? Kunhan vain saan armon herrani silmien edessä!

15. Ja Esau sanoi: minä jätän kuitenkin sinun tykös jotakin siitä väestä, kuin minun kanssani on. Hän vastasi: mihinkä se? Anna minun ainoastansa löytää armo minun herrani edessä.

15. Esau sanoi: minä jätän cuitengin sinun tygös jotakin sijtä wäest cuin minun cansan on. Hän wastais: mihingä se? anna minun ainoastans löytä armo minun Herrani edes.

15 And Esau said, Let me now leave with you some of the folks that are with me. And he said, What need is it? Let me find favor in the sight of my lord.

15. And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.

15. Esau sprach: So will ich doch etliche bei dir lassen vom Volk, das mit mir ist. Er antwortete: Was ist's vonnöten? Laß mich nur Gnade vor meinem Herrn finden.

15. Y Esaú dijo: Dejaré ahora contigo del pueblo que viene conmigo. Y él dijo: ¿Para qué esto? Halle yo gracia en los ojos de mi señor.

15 Исав сказал: оставлю я с тобою несколько из людей, которые при мне. Иаков сказал: к чему это? только бы мне приобрести благоволение в очах господина моего!

16. Niin Eesau sinä päivänä kääntyi takaisin ja meni sitä tietään Seiriin.

16. Niin Esau palasi sinä päivänä tietänsä myöten Seiriin.

16. Nijn Esau palais sinä päiwänä hänen tietäns myöden Seirijn.

16 So Esau returned that day on his way to Seir.

16. So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir.

16. Also zog des Tages Esau wiederum seines Weges gen Seir.

16. Así se volvió Esaú aquel día por su camino a Seir.

16 И возвратился Исав в тот же день путем своим в Сеир.

17. Mutta Jaakob lähti Sukkotiin ja rakensi siellä itsellensä majan. Ja karjallensa hän teki tarhoja. Siitä tuli sen paikan nimeksi Sukkot.

17. Mutta Jakob matkusti Sukkotiin, ja rakensi itsellensä huoneen, ja teki majat karjallensa. Sentähden kutsui hän sen paikan Sukkot.

17. Mutta Jacob matcusti Suchotthijn ja rakensi idzellens huonen ja teki majat hänen carjallens. Sentähden cudzui hän sen paican Suchoth.

17 And Jacob traveled to Succoth and built for him a house and made booths for his cattle. Therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.

17. And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.

17. Und Jakob zog gen Sukkoth und baute sich ein Haus und machte seinem Vieh Hütten; daher heißt die Stätte Sukkoth.

17. Y Jacob se partió a Socot, y edificó para sí allí casa; e hizo cabañas para su ganado: por tanto llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Socot.

17 А Иаков двинулся в Сокхоф, и построил себе дом, и для скота своегосделал шалаши. От сего он нарек имя месту: Сокхоф.

18. Ja Jaakob saapui matkallansa Mesopotamiasta onnellisesti Sikemin kaupunkiin, joka on Kanaanin maassa, ja leiriytyi kaupungin edustalle.

18. Sitte tuli Jakob rauhoitettuna siihen kaupunkiin Sikem, joka on Kanaanin maalla, sitte kuin hän oli tullut Mesopotamiasta; ja sioitti itsensä kaupungin kohdalle.

18. SIjtte tuli Jacob Salemijn sijhen Caupungijn Sichem joca on Canaan maalla sijtte cuin hän oli tullut Mesopotamiast ja sioitti idzens Caupungin cohdalle.

18 And Jacob came in peace to the city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Paddan-aram and encamped before the city.

18. And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before the city.

18. Darnach zog Jakob mit Frieden zu der Stadt Sichems, die im Lande Kanaan liegt (nachdem er aus Mesopotamien gekommen war), und machte sein Lager vor der Stadt

18. Y vino Jacob sano a la ciudad de Siquem, que es en la tierra de Canaán, cuando venía de Padan-aram, y asentó delante de la ciudad.

18 Иаков, возвратившись из Месопотамии, благополучно пришел в город Сихем, который в земле Ханаанской, и расположился пред городом.

19. Ja hän osti sen maapalstan, johon hän oli pystyttänyt telttansa, Hamorin, Sikemin isän, pojilta sadalla kesitalla.

19. Ja osti murun peltoa, johonka hän teki majansa, Hemorin, Sikemin isän lapsilta, sadan penningin edestä.

19. Ja osti murun peldo johonga hän teki majans Hemorin Sichemin Isän lapsilda sadan penningin edest.

19 And he bought the parcel of ground, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the sons of Hamor, Shechem's father, for a hundred lambs.

19. And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.

19. und kaufte ein Stück Acker von den Kindern Hemors, des Vaters Sichems, um hundert Groschen; daselbst richtete er seine Hütte auf.

19. Y compró una parte del campo, donde tendió su tienda, de mano de los hijos de Jamor padre de Siquem, por cien piezas de moneda.

19 И купил часть поля, на котором раскинул шатер свой, у сынов Еммора, отца Сихемова, за сто монет.

20. Ja hän pystytti siihen alttarin ja antoi sille nimen Eel, Israelin Jumala.

20. Ja rakensi siinä alttarin: ja rukoili väkevää Israelin Jumalan nimeä.

20. Ja rakensi sijnä Altarin ja rucoili wäkewätä Israelin Jumalan nime.

20 And he erected an altar there and called it El-Elohe-Israel {God of Israel is Mighty}.

20. And he erected there an altar, and called it Elelohe-Israel.

20. Und er richtete daselbst einen Altar zu und rief an den Namen des starken Gottes Israels.

20. Y asentó allí altar, y llamóle: El Fuerte Dios de Israel.

20 И поставил там жертвенник, и призвал имя Господа Бога Израилева.
