Joosefin veljien toinen matka Egyptiin.

1. Mutta nälänhätä oli maassa kova.

2 And it happened, when they had eaten up the grain which they had brought out of Egypt, their father said to them, Go again, buy us a little food.

2 И когда они съели хлеб, который привезли из Египта, тогда отец их сказал им: пойдите опять, купите нам немного пищи.

3. Juuda vastasi hänelle sanoen: Se mies teroitti meille teroittamalla: 'Ette saa tulla minun kasvojeni eteen, ellei veljenne ole teidän kanssanne.'

3. Niin vastasi häntä Juuda, sanoen: se mies haastoi meitä sangen kovin, ja sanoi: ei pidä teidän näkemän minun kasvojani, jollei teidän veljenne ole teidän kanssanne.

3 And Judah spoke to him, saying, The man solemnly protested to us, saying, You* will not see my face unless your* brother be with you*.

3. And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

3. Da antwortete ihm Juda und sprach: Der Mann band uns das hart ein und sprach: Ihr sollt mein Angesicht nicht sehen, es sei denn euer Bruder mit euch.

3. Y respondióle Judá, diciendo: Protestando nos protestó aquel varón, diciendo: No veréis mi rostro sin vuestro hermano con vosotros.

3 И сказал ему Иуда, говоря: тот человек решительно объявил нам, сказав: не являйтесь ко мне на лице, если брата вашего не будет с вами.

4. Jos annat veljemme seurata meidän mukanamme, niin me lähdemme ostamaan sinulle elintarpeita.

4. Jos siis sinä nyt lähetät meidän veljemme meidän kanssamme, niin me menemme alas ja osatmme sinulle elatusta.

4 If you will send our brother with us, we will go down and buy food for you,

4 Если пошлешь с нами брата нашего, то пойдем и купим тебе пищи,

5. Mutta jos et anna, niin emme lähde; sillä se mies sanoi meille: 'Ette saa tulla minun kasvojeni eteen, ellei veljenne ole teidän kanssanne.'

5. Vaan jolles häntä lähetä, niin emme mekään mene; sillä se mies sanoi meille: ei teidän pidä näkemän minun kasvojani, jollei teidän veljenne ole teidän kanssanne.

5. Waan jolles händä lähetä meidän cansam nijn en mekän mene sillä se mies sanoi meille: ei teidän pidä näkemän minun caswojani jollei teidän weljen ole teidän cansan.

5 but if you will not send him, we will not go down. For the man said to us, You* will not see my face unless your* brother be with you*.

5. But if thou wilt not send him, we will not go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

5. Ist's aber, daß du ihn nicht sendest, so ziehen wir nicht hinab. Denn der Mann hat gesagt zu uns: Ihr sollt mein Angesicht nicht sehen, euer Bruder sei denn mit euch.

5. Y si no le enviares, no descenderemos; porque aquel varón nos dijo: No veréis mi rostro sin vuestro hermano con vosotros.

5 а если не пошлешь, то не пойдем, ибо тот человек сказал нам: не являйтесь ко мне на лице, если брата вашего не будет с вами.

6. Israel sanoi: Minkätähden teitte niin pahasti minua kohtaan, että ilmaisitte tuolle miehelle teillä olevan vielä veljen?

6. Israel sanoi: miksi te teitte minua vastaan niin pahoin, että te sanoitte sille miehelle teillänne vielä olevan veljen.

6. Israel sanoi: mixi te teitte minua wastan nijn pahoin että te sanoitta sille miehelle teillän wielä olewan weljen.

6 And Israel said, Why did you* deal so ill with me, as to tell the man whether you* had yet a brother?

6. And Israel said, Wherefore dealt ye so ill with me, as to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother?

6. Israel sprach: Warum habt ihr so übel an mir getan, daß ihr dem Mann ansagtet, daß ihr noch einen Bruder habt?

6. Y dijo Israel: ¿Por qué me hicisteis mal declarando al varón, que teníais más hermano?

6 Израиль сказал: для чего вы сделали мне такое зло, сказав тому человеку, что у вас есть еще брат?

7. He vastasivat: Mies kyseli tuiki tarkasti meitä ja meidän sukuamme, sanoen: 'Elääkö isänne vielä? Onko teillä vielä veljeä?' Silloin me ilmoitimme hänelle, niinkuin asia on. Saatoimmeko tietää, että hän sanoisi: 'Tuokaa tänne veljenne'?

7. He vastasivat: se mies kysyi meistä niin visusti, ja meidän suvustamme, sanoen: vieläkö teidän isänne elää? Onko teillä vielä veljeä? Niin me vastasimme häntä kuin hän kysyi. Taitaisimmeko me ratki tietää hänen sanovan: tuokaat veljenne tänne.

7. He wastaisit: se mies kysyi meistä nijn wisust ja meidän sugustam sanoden: wieläkö teidän Isän elä? nijn me wastaisim hänelle cuin hän kysyi. Mistä me tiesim hänen sanowan: tuocat weljen tänne?

7 And they said, The man asked diligently concerning ourselves and concerning our kindred, saying, Is your* father yet alive? Have you* (another) brother? And we told him according to the tenor of these words. Could we in any way know that he would say, Bring your* brother down?

7. And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?

7. Sie antworteten: Der Mann forschte so genau nach uns und unsrer Freundschaft und sprach: Lebt euer Vater noch? Habt ihr auch noch einen Bruder? Da sagten wir ihm, wie er uns fragte. Wie konnten wir wissen, daß er sagen würde: Bringt euren Bruder mit hernieder?

7. Y ellos respondieron: Preguntando nos preguntó aquel varón por nosotros, y por nuestra parentela, diciendo: ¿Vive aun vuestro padre? ¿Tenéis más hermano? Y declarámosle conforme a estas palabras: ¿Podíamos nosotros saber que había de decir: Hacéd venir a vuestro hermano?

7 Они сказали: расспрашивал тот человек о нас и о родстве нашем, говоря: жив ли еще отец ваш? есть ли у вас брат? Мы и рассказали ему по этим расспросам. Могли ли мы знать, что он скажет: приведите брата вашего?

8. Ja Juuda sanoi isällensä Israelille: Anna nuorukaisen seurata minun mukanani, niin me nousemme ja lähdemme matkalle, että jäisimme eloon, sekä me että sinä ja vaimomme ja lapsemme, emmekä kuolisi.

8. Niin sanoi Juuda isällensä Israelille: lähetä nuorukainen minun kanssani, niin me valmistamme ja lähdemme matkaan: että me eläisimme ja emme kuolisi, sekä me että sinä ja meidän lapsemme.

8. NIin sanoi Juda Israelille hänen Isällens: lähetä nuorucainen minun cansani nijn me hangidzem ja lähdem matcan että me eläisim ja em cuolis sekä me että sinä ja meidän lapsem.

8 And Judah said to Israel his father, Send the young man with me and we will arise and go, that we may live and not die, both we and you and also our little ones.

8. And Judah said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and also our little ones.

8. Da sprach Juda zu Israel, seinem Vater: Laß den Knaben mit mir ziehen, daß wir uns aufmachen und reisen, und leben und nicht sterben, wir und du und unsre Kindlein.

8. Entónces Judá dijo a Israel su padre: Envía al mozo conmigo, y levantarnos hemos, e iremos, porque vivamos y no muramos nosotros: y tú, y nuestros niños.

8 Иуда же сказал Израилю, отцу своему: отпусти отрока со мною, и мывстанем и пойдем, и живы будем и не умрем и мы, и ты, и дети наши;

9. Minä vastaan hänestä; minun kädestäni saat vaatia hänet. Jos en tuo häntä takaisin sinun luoksesi ja aseta häntä eteesi, niin minä olen syyllinen sinun edessäsi kaiken elinaikani.

9. Minä takaan hänen edestänsä, kaipaa häntä minun käsistäni; jollen minä tuo häntä jälleen sinun tykös, ja pane häntä sinun etees, niin minä olen vikapää sinun edessäs kaikkena minun elinaikanani.

9. Minä tacan hänen caipa händä minun käsistäni jollen minä tuo händä jällens sinun tygös ja pane händä sinun etees nijn minä olen wicapää sinun edesäs caickena minun elinaicanani.

9 I will be a surety for him, of my hand will you require him. If I do not bring him to you and set him before you, then let me bear the blame forever.

9. I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the blame for ever:

9. Ich will Bürge für ihn sein, von meinen Händen sollst du ihn fordern. Wenn ich dir ihn nicht wiederbringe und vor deine Augen stelle, so will ich mein Leben lang die Schuld tragen.

9. Yo salgo por fiador, de mi mano le requerirás: si yo no te le volviere, y le pusiere delante de tí, cargue yo con la culpa para siempre.

9 я отвечаю за него, из моих рук потребуешь его; если я не приведу егок тебе и не поставлю его пред лицем твоим, то останусь я виновным пред тобою во все дни жизни;

10. Totisesti, jos emme olisi näin vitkastelleet, niin olisimme jo kaksikin kertaa voineet olla sieltä kotona.

10. Sillä jollei meillä olisi ollut viivytystä, totisesti me olisimme jo toisen kerran tulleet jällensä.

10. Sillä jollei meillä olis ollut wijwytystä totisest me olisim jo caxikerta tullet jällens.

10 For unless we had lingered, surely we would have now returned a second time.

10. For except we had lingered, surely now we had returned this second time.

10. Denn wo wir nicht hätten verzogen, wären wir schon wohl zweimal wiedergekommen.

10. Que si no nos hubieramos detenido, cierto ahora hubieramos ya vuelto dos veces.

10 если бы мы не медлили, то уже сходили бы два раза.

11. Silloin heidän isänsä Israel sanoi heille: Jos niin on, tehkää ainakin tämä: ottakaa säkkeihinne maan parhaimpia tuotteita ja viekää ne sille miehelle lahjaksi: vähän balsamia ja vähän hunajaa, kumihartsia ja hajupihkaa, pähkinöitä ja manteleita.

11. Niin sanoi Israel heidän isänsä heille: jos nyt kumminkin niin pitää oleman, tehkäät siis näin: ottakaat maan parhaista hedelmistä teidän astioihinne, ja viekäät sille miehelle lahjoja: jotakin mastiksia ja hunajaa, ja styraksia, ja ladanumia, ja dadelia ja mandelia.

11 And their father Israel said to them, If it is so now, do this: take of the choice fruits of the land in your* vessels and carry a present down to the man, a little balm and a little honey, spicery and myrrh, nuts and almonds.

11. And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:

11. Da sprach Israel, ihr Vater, zu ihnen: Muß es denn ja also sein, so tut's und nehmt von des Landes besten Früchten in eure Säcke und bringt dem Manne Geschenke hinab: ein wenig Balsam und Honig, Würze und Myrrhe, Datteln und Mandeln.

11. Entónces Israel su padre les respondió: Pues que así es, hacédlo: tomád de lo mejor de la tierra en vuestros vasos, y llevád a aquel varón un presente, un poco de resina, y un poco de miel, especias, y almaciga, piñones, y almendras.

11 Израиль, отец их, сказал им: если так, то вот что сделайте: возьмите с собою плодов земли сей и отнесите в дар тому человеку несколько бальзама и несколько меду, стираксы и ладану, фисташков и миндальных орехов;

12. Ja ottakaa mukaanne kaksinkertainen raha, niin että viette takaisin sen rahan, joka palautettiin säkkienne suussa. Ehkä se oli erehdys.

12. Ottakaat myös toinen raha teidän myötänne, ja se raha, jonka te toitte jällensä säkkein suussa, viekäät myötänne; taitaa olla, että se on epähuomiosta tapahtunut.

12 And take double money in your* hand and the money that was returned in the mouth of your* sacks carry again in your* hand. Perhaps it was an oversight.

12. And take double money in your hand; and the money that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an oversight:

12. Nehmt auch anderes Geld mit euch; und das Geld, das euch oben in euren Säcken wieder geworden ist, bringt auch wieder mit euch. Vielleicht ist ein Irrtum da geschehen.

12. Y tomád en vuestras manos doblado dinero; y llevád en vuestra mano el dinero vuelto en las bocas de vuestros costales, quizá fué yerro.

12 возьмите и другое серебро в руки ваши; а серебро, обратно положенное в отверстие мешков ваших, возвратите руками вашими: может быть, этонедосмотр;

13. Ottakaa sitten mukaanne myöskin veljenne ja nouskaa ja menkää jälleen sen miehen luo.

13. Ottakaat myös teidän veljenne; ja valmistakaat, ja menkäät jälleen sen miehen tykö.

13. Ottacat myös teidän weljen ja hangitcat ja mengät jällens sen miehen tygö.

13 Also take your* brother and arise, go again to the man.

13. Take also your brother, and arise, go again unto the man:

13. Dazu nehmt euren Bruder, macht euch auf und kommt wieder zu dem Manne.

13. Y tomád vuestro hermano, y levantáos, y volvéd a aquel varón.

13 и брата вашего возьмите и, встав, пойдите опять к человеку тому;

14. Jumala, Kaikkivaltias, suokoon, että se mies tekisi teille laupeuden ja antaisi toisen veljenne sekä Benjaminin palata kotiin teidän kanssanne. Mutta jos tulen lapsettomaksi, niin tulen lapsettomaksi.

14. Jumala kaikkivaltias antakoon teidän löytää laupiuden sen miehen edessä, että hän päästäis jälleen teille toisen teidän veljenne, ja (tämän) BenJaminin. Mutta minä, niinkuin minä olen lapsettomaksi joutunut, olen lapsetonna.

14 And God Almighty give you* mercy before the man, that he may release to you* your* other brother and Benjamin {Son of the Right}. And if I be bereaved of my sons, I am bereaved.

14. And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.

14. Aber der allmächtige Gott gebe euch Barmherzigkeit vor dem Manne, daß er euch lasse euren andern Bruder und Benjamin. Ich aber muß sein wie einer, der seiner Kinder gar beraubt ist.

14. Y el Dios omnipotente os dé misericordias delante de aquel varón, y os suelte al otro vuestro hermano, y a este Benjamín: y yo como deshijado, deshijado.

14 Бог же Всемогущий да даст вам найти милость у человека того, чтобы он отпустил вам и другого брата вашего и Вениамина, а мне если уже быть бездетным, то пусть буду бездетным.

15. Niin miehet ottivat mukaansa lahjan ja kaksinkertaisen rahan sekä myöskin Benjaminin ja nousivat ja menivät Egyptiin; ja he astuivat Joosefin eteen.

15. Niin ottivat miehet nämät lahjat, ja ottivat kaksi sen vertaa rahaa myötänsä, ja BenJaminin: valmistivat itsensä ja menivät Egyptiin, ja seisoivat Josephin edessä.

15. NIin otit he nämät lahjat ja caxi sen werta raha myötäns ja BenJaminin: walmistit idzens ja menit Egyptijn ja tulit Josephin eteen.

15 And the men took that present and they took double money in their hand and Benjamin {Son of the Right} and rose up and went down to Egypt and stood before Joseph.

15. And the men took that present, and they took double money in their hand, and Benjamin; and rose up, and went down to Egypt, and stood before Joseph.

15. Da nahmen sie diese Geschenke und das Geld zwiefältig mit sich und Benjamin, machten sich auf, zogen nach Ägypten und traten vor Joseph.

15. Entónces aquellos varones tomaron el presente, y tomaron en su mano doblado dinero, y a Benjamín; y levantáronse y descendieron a Egipto, y presentáronse delante de José.

15 И взяли те люди дары эти, и серебра вдвое взяли в руки свои, и Вениамина, и встали, пошли в Египет и предстали предлице Иосифа.

16. Kun Joosef näki Benjaminin heidän seurassaan, sanoi hän huoneenhaltijalleen: Vie nämä miehet sisään; teurasta teuras ja valmista se, sillä miehet saavat syödä päivällistä minun kanssani.

16. Ja kun Joseph näki BenJaminin heidän kanssansa, sanoi hän huoneensa haltialle: vie nämät miehet huoneesen, ja tee ja teurasta ja valmista; sillä heidän pitää minun kanssani päivällistä syömän.

16 And when Joseph saw Benjamin {Son of the Right} with them, he said to the steward of his house, Bring the men into the house and kill and make ready, because the men will dine with me at noon.

16. And when Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the ruler of his house, Bring these men home, and slay, and make ready; for these men shall dine with me at noon.

16. Da sah sie Joseph mit Benjamin und sprach zu seinem Haushalter: Führe diese Männer ins Haus und schlachte und richte zu; denn sie sollen zu Mittag mit mir essen.

16. Y José vió con ellos a Benjamín, y dijo al que presidía en su casa: Mete aquellos varones en casa, y degüella víctima, y apareja; porque estos varones comerán conmigo al mediodía.

16 Иосиф, увидев между ними Вениамина, сказал начальнику дома своего:введи сих людей в дом и заколи что-нибудь из скота, и приготовь, потомучто со мною будут есть эти люди в полдень.

17. Ja mies teki, niinkuin Joosef oli käskenyt, ja vei miehet Joosefin taloon.

17. Ja se mies teki niinkuin Joseph oli hänelle käskenyt, ja vei miehet Josephin huoneesen.

17. Ja se mies teki nijncuin Joseph oli hänelle käskenyt ja wei miehet Josephin huoneseen.

17 And the man did as Joseph commanded and the man brought the men to Joseph's house.

17. And the man did as Joseph bade; and the man brought the men into Joseph's house.

17. Und der Mann tat, wie ihm Joseph gesagt hatte, und führte die Männer in Josephs Haus.

17. Y el varón hizo como José dijo, y metió aquel varón a los hombres en casa de José.

17 И сделал человек тот, как сказал Иосиф, и ввел человек тот людей сих в дом Иосифов.

18. Mutta miehet pelkäsivät, kun heitä vietiin Joosefin taloon, arvellen: Sen rahan tähden, joka viime kerralla tuli takaisin meidän säkeissämme, ne nyt vievät meitä tänne hyökätäkseen ja karatakseen meidän kimppuumme, ottaakseen meidät orjiksi ja anastaakseen aasimme.

18. Ja he pelkäsivät, että he vietiin Josephin huoneesen, ja sanoivat: me viedään tänne sen rahan tähden jonka me tätä ennen löysimme meidän säkeistämme: että hän soimais meitä, ja saattais meitä oikeuden alle, ja ottais meitä orjiksensa, ja meidän aasimme.

18 And the men were afraid, because they were brought to Joseph's house and they said, We are brought in because of the money that was returned in our sacks at the first time, that he may seek occasion against us and fall upon us and take us for bondmen and our donkeys.

18. And the men were afraid, because they were brought into Joseph's house; and they said, Because of the money that was returned in our sacks at the first time are we brought in; that he may seek occasion against us, and fall upon us, and take us for bondmen, and our asses.

18. Sie fürchteten sich aber, daß sie in Josephs Haus geführt wurden und sprachen: Wir sind hereingeführt um des Geldes willen, das wir in unsern Säcken das erstemal wiedergefunden haben, daß er's auf uns bringe und fälle ein Urteil über uns, damit er uns nehme zu eigenen Knechten samt unsern Eseln.

18. Y aquellos hombres tuvieron temor, cuando fueron metidos en casa de José, y decían: Por el dinero que fué vuelto en nuestros costales la primera vez nos han metido, para revolver sobre nosotros, y par sobre nosotros, y tomarnos por siervos a nosotros, y a nuestros asnos.

18 И испугались люди эти, что ввели их в дом Иосифов, и сказали: это за серебро, возвращенное прежде в мешки наши, ввели нас, чтобы придраться к нам и напасть на нас, и взять нас в рабство, и ослов наших.

19. Niin he menivät Joosefin huoneenhaltijan luo ja puhuttelivat häntä talon ovella

19. Sentähden he menivät Josephin huoneenhaltian tykö, ja puhuttelivat häntä huoneen oven edessä,

19. Sentähden he menit Josephin huonenhaldian tygö ja puhuttelit händä huonen owen edes ja sanoit:

19 And they came near to the steward of Joseph's house and they spoke to him at the door of the house,

19. And they came near to the steward of Joseph's house, and they communed with him at the door of the house,

19. Darum traten sie zu Josephs Haushalter und redeten mit ihm vor der Haustür

19. Y llegáronse a aquel varón, que presidía en casa de José, y habláronle a la entrada de la casa,

19 И подошли они к начальнику дома Иосифова, и стали говорить ему у дверей дома,

20. ja sanoivat: Oi kuule, herra, me olemme kerran ennen käyneet täällä ostamassa elintarpeita,

20. Ja sanoivat: ah, minun herrani, me olimme ennen tänne tulleet ostamaan jyviä.

20. Minun herran me olimme ennen tänne tullet ostaman jywiä/

20 and said, Oh, my lord, we indeed came down at the first time to buy food.

20. And said, O sir, we came indeed down at the first time to buy food:
