Joosefin veljien ensimmäinen matka Egyptiin.

1. Mutta kun Jaakob sai tietää, että Egyptissä oli viljaa, sanoi hän pojillensa: Mitä epäröitte?

1 Now Jacob saw that there was grain in Egypt. And Jacob said to his sons, Why do you* look one upon another?

1. Now when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons, Why do ye look one upon another?

1. Da aber Jakob sah, daß Getreide in Ägypten feil war, sprach er zu seinen Söhnen: Was sehet ihr euch lange um?

1. Y VIENDO Jacob que en Egipto había alimentos, dijo a sus hijos: ¿Por qué os estáis mirando?

1 И узнал Иаков, что в Египте есть хлеб, и сказал Иаков сыновьям своим: что вы смотрите?

2. Ja hän sanoi: Katso, minä olen kuullut, että Egyptissä on viljaa. Menkää sinne ja ostakaa meille sieltä viljaa, että pysyisimme hengissä emmekä kuolisi.

2. Ja sanoi: katso, minä kuulen Egyptissä olevan jyviä; menkäät alas sinne, ja ostakaat meille sieltä, että me eläisimme, ja emme kuolisi.

2 And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is grain in Egypt. You* get down there and buy for us from there, that we may live and not die.

2. And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may live, and not die.

2. Siehe, ich höre, es sei in Ägypten Getreide feil; zieht hinab und kauft uns Getreide, daß wir leben und nicht sterben.

2. Y dijo: He aquí yo he oido que hay alimentos en Egipto; descendéd allá, y comprád para nosotros de allá, para que vivamos, y no nos muramos.

2 И сказал: вот, я слышал, что есть хлеб в Египте; пойдите туда и купите нам оттуда хлеба, чтобы нам жить и не умереть.

3. Niin kymmenen Joosefin veljeä lähti ostamaan viljaa Egyptistä.

3 And Joseph's ten brothers went down to buy grain from Egypt.

3. Y descendieron los diez hermanos de José a comprar trigo a Egipto.

3 Десять братьев Иосифовых пошли купить хлеба в Египте,

4. Mutta Benjaminia, Joosefin veljeä, Jaakob ei lähettänyt hänen veljiensä mukana, sillä hän pelkäsi, että häntä kohtaisi jokin onnettomuus.

4. Mutta BenJaminia, Josephin veljeä, ei lähettänyt Jakob veljiensä kanssa; sillä hän sanoi: ettei hänelle vahinkoa tapahtuisi.

4 But Benjamin {Son of the Right}, Joseph's brother, Jacob did not send with his brothers, because he said, Lest perhaps harm befall him.

4. Aber den Benjamin, Josephs Bruder, ließ Jakob nicht mit seinen Brüdern ziehen; denn er sprach: Es möchte ihm ein Unfall begegnen.

4. Mas a Benjamín, hermano de José, no envió Jacob con sus hermanos, porque dijo: Porque no le acontezca algún desastre.

4 а Вениамина, брата Иосифова, не послал Иаков с братьями его, ибо сказал: не случилось бы с ним беды.

5. Niin Israelin pojat tulivat muiden tulijain mukana ostamaan viljaa, sillä Kanaanin maassa oli nälänhätä.

5. Niin läksivät Israelin lapset matkaan (jyviä) ostamaan muiden seurassa; sillä nälkä oli Kanaanin maalla.

5 And the sons of Israel came to buy among those who came, because the famine was in the land of Canaan.

5. Also kamen die Kinder Israels, Getreide zu kaufen, samt anderen, die mit ihnen zogen; denn es war im Lande Kanaan auch teuer.

5. Y vinieron los hijos de Israel a comprar entre los que venían; porque había hambre en la tierra de Canaán.

5 И пришли сыны Израилевы покупать хлеб, вместе с другими пришедшими, ибо в земле Ханаанской был голод.

6. Mutta Joosef oli vallanpitäjänä maassa; hän myi viljaa kaikelle maan kansalle. Niin Joosefin veljet tulivat ja kumartuivat hänen edessään kasvoilleen maahan.

6. Mutta Joseph oli hallitsia maakunnassa, hän antoi myydä jyviä kaikelle maan kansalle. Niin tulivat Josephin veljet, ja kumarsivat maahan kasvoillensa hänen eteensä.

6 And Joseph was the governor over the land. It was he who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph's brothers came and bowed themselves to him with their faces to the earth.

6. And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.

6. Aber Joseph war der Regent im Lande und verkaufte Getreide allem Volk im Lande. Da nun seine Brüder kamen, fielen sie vor ihm nieder zur Erde auf ihr Antlitz.

6. Y José era el señor de la tierra, que vendía el trigo a todo el pueblo de la tierra: e llegaron los hermanos de José, e inclináronse a él la haz sobre la tierra.

6 Иосиф же был начальником в земле той; он и продавал хлеб всему народу земли. Братья Иосифа пришли и поклонились ему лицем до земли.

7. Ja Joosef näki veljensä, ja hän tunsi heidät, mutta tekeytyi heille vieraaksi, puhutteli heitä ankarasti ja kysyi heiltä: Mistä te tulette? He vastasivat: Kanaanin maasta tulemme, ostamaan elintarpeita.

7 And Joseph saw his brothers and he knew them, but made himself foreign to them and spoke roughly with them. And he said to them. From where do you* come? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.

7. And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.

7. Und er sah sie an und kannte sie und stellte sich fremd gegen sie und redete hart mit ihnen und sprach zu ihnen: Woher kommt ihr? Sie sprachen: Aus dem Lande Kanaan, Speise zu kaufen.

7. Y José como vió a sus hermanos, conociólos, e hizo que no los conocía; y hablóles asperamente, y díjoles: ¿De dónde habéis venido? Ellos respondieron: De la tierra de Canaán a comprar alimentos.

7 И увидел Иосиф братьев своих и узнал их; но показал, будто не знает их, и говорил с ними сурово и сказал им: откуда вы пришли? Они сказали: из земли Ханаанской, купить пищи.

8. Ja Joosef tunsi veljensä, mutta he eivät tunteneet häntä.

8 And Joseph knew his brothers, but they did not know him.

8. Y José conoció a sus hermanos, mas ellos no le conocieron.

8 Иосиф узнал братьев своих, но они не узнали его.

9. Silloin Joosef muisti unet, jotka hän oli nähnyt heistä, ja sanoi heille: Te olette vakoojia; olette tulleet katsomaan, mistä maa olisi avoin.

9. Niin Joseph muisti unensa, jotka hän oli nähnyt heistä; ja sanoi heille: te olette vakojat, ja olette tulleet katsomaan, kusta maa avojoin olis.

9 And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them. And said to them, You* are spies; you* have come to see the nakedness of the land.

9. Entónces José se acordó de los sueños que había soñado de ellos, y díjoles: Espiones sois: por ver lo descubierto de la tierra habéis venido.

9 И вспомнил Иосиф сны, которые снились ему о них; и сказал им: высоглядатаи, вы пришли высмотреть наготу земли сей.

10. He vastasivat hänelle: Ei, herra; palvelijasi ovat tulleet ostamaan elintarpeita.

10. He vastasivat häntä: ei minun herrani: mutta sinun palvelias ovat tulleet ostamaan jyviä.

10. He wastaisit händä: ei minun herran mutta sinun palwelias owat tullet ostaman heillens jywiä.

10 And they said to him, No, my lord, but your servants have come to buy food.

10. And they said unto him, Nay, my lord, but to buy food are thy servants come.

10. Sie antworteten ihm: Nein, mein Herr; deine Knechte sind gekommen Speise zu kaufen.

10. Y ellos le respondieron: No, señor mío; mas tus siervos han venido a comprar alimentos.

10 Они сказали ему: нет, господин наш; рабы твои пришли купить пищи;

11. Me olemme kaikki saman miehen poikia, olemme rehellisiä miehiä; palvelijasi eivät ole vakoojia.

11. Me olemme kaikki yhden miehen pojat: me olemme vaat, eikä sinun palvelias ole ikänänsä olleet vakojat.

11. Me olemma caicki yhden miehen pojat me olemma wagat eikä sinun palwelias ole ikänäns ollet wacojat.

11 We are all one man's sons. We are true men. Your servants are no spies.

11. We are all one man's sons; we are true men, thy servants are no spies.

11. Wir sind alle eines Mannes Söhne; wir sind redlich, und deine Knechte sind nie Kundschafter gewesen.

11. Todos nosotros somos hijos de un varón, hombres de verdad somos: tus siervos nunca fueron espiones.

11 мы все дети одного человека; мы люди честные; рабы твои не бывали соглядатаями.

12. Mutta hän sanoi heille: Ei ole niin, vaan te olette tulleet katsomaan, mistä maa olisi avoin.

12. Hän sanoi heille: ei suinkaan, mutta te olette tulleet katsomaan, kusta maa avojoin olis.

12 And he said to them, No, but you* have come to see the nakedness of the land.

12. And he said unto them, Nay, but to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.

12. Er sprach zu ihnen: Nein, sondern ihr seid gekommen, zu ersehen, wo das Land offen ist.

12. Y él les dijo: No: a ver lo descubierto de la tierra habéis venido.

12 Он сказал им: нет, вы пришли высмотреть наготу земли сей.

13. He vastasivat: Meitä, sinun palvelijoitasi, on kaksitoista veljestä, saman miehen poikia Kanaanin maasta; nuorin on nyt kotona isämme luona, ja yhtä ei enää ole.

13. He sanoivat: me sinun palvelias olimme kaksitoistakymmentä veljestä, yhden miehen pojat Kanaanin maalla; ja katso, nuorin on nyt meidän isämme tykönä, mutta yksi ei ole sillen eleillä.

13 And they said, We your servants are twelve brothers, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan. And behold, the youngest is this day with our father and one is not.

13. And they said, Thy servants are twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan; and, behold, the youngest is this day with our father, and one is not.

13. Sie antworteten ihm: Wir, deine Knechte, sind zwölf Brüder, eines Mannes Söhne im Lande Kanaan, und der jüngste ist noch bei unserm Vater; aber der eine ist nicht mehr vorhanden.

13. Ellos respondieron: Tus siervos somos doce hermanos, hijos de un varón en la tierra de Canaán: y, he aquí, el menor está con nuestro padre hoy, y otro no parece.

13 Они сказали: нас, рабов твоих, двенадцать братьев; мы сыновья одного человека в земле Ханаанской, и вот, меньший теперь с отцом нашим, а одного не стало.

14. Joosef sanoi heille: Niin on, kuin olen teille puhunut: te olette vakoojia.

14. Joseph sanoi heille: sepä se on, kuin minä olen teille puhunut, sanoen: vakojat te olette.

14. Joseph sanoi heille: sepä se on cuin minä olen teille puhunut sanoden wacojat te oletta.

14 And Joseph said to them, This is what I spoke to you*, saying, You* are spies.

14. And Joseph said unto them, That is it that I spake unto you, saying, Ye are spies:

14. Joseph sprach zu ihnen: Das ist's, was ich euch gesagt habe: Kundschafter seid ihr.

14. Y José les dijo: Eso es lo que yo os he dicho, diciendo que sois espiones.

14 И сказал им Иосиф: это самое я и говорил вам, сказав: вы соглядатаи;

15. Näin te tulette koeteltaviksi: niin totta kuin farao elää, te ette pääse täältä lähtemään, ellei nuorin veljenne tule tänne.

15. Siinä teitä pitää koeteltaman. Niin totta kuin Pharao elää, ei teidän pidä täältä pääsemän, jollei teidän nuorin veljenne tule tänne.

15. Sijnä teitä pitä coeteldaman. Nijn totta cuin Pharao elä ei teidän pidä tääldä pääsemän jollei teidän nuorin weljen tule tänne.

15 By this you* will be proved; by the life of Pharaoh you* will not go forth from here unless your* youngest brother comes here.

15. Hereby ye shall be proved: By the life of Pharaoh ye shall not go forth hence, except your youngest brother come hither.

15. Daran will ich euch prüfen; bei dem Leben Pharaos! ihr sollt nicht von dannen kommen, es komme denn her euer jüngster Bruder.

15. En esto seréis probados: Vive Faraón, que no saldréis de aquí, sino cuando vuestro hermano menor viniere aquí.

15 вот как вы будете испытаны: клянусь жизнью фараона, вы не выйдете отсюда, если не придет сюда меньший брат ваш;

16. Lähettäkää yksi joukostanne noutamaan veljenne tänne, mutta teidän muiden on jääminen tänne vangeiksi, että koeteltaisiin, oletteko puhuneet totta; muuten, niin totta kuin farao elää, te olette vakoojia.

16. Lähettäkäät yksi teistänne, joka tuo teidän veljenne tänne: mutta teidän pitää vankina oleman, niin teidän puheenne koetellaan, jos teissä totuus on; mutta jollei, niin totta kuin Pharao elää, te olette vakojat.

16 Send one of you* and let him fetch your* brother. And you* will be bound, that your* words may be proved, whether there is truth in you*, or else by the life of Pharaoh surely you* are spies.

16. Send one of you, and let him fetch your brother, and ye shall be kept in prison, that your words may be proved, whether there be any truth in you: or else by the life of Pharaoh surely ye are spies.

16. Sendet einen unter euch hin, der euren Bruder hole; ihr aber sollt gefangen sein. Also will ich prüfen eure Rede, ob ihr mit Wahrheit umgeht oder nicht. Denn wo nicht, so seid ihr, bei dem Leben Pharaos! Kundschafter.

16. Enviád uno de vosotros, y tome a vuestro hermano; y vosotros quedád presos; y vuestras palabras serán probadas, si hay verdad con vosotros: y si nó, vive Faraón que sois espiones.

16 пошлите одного из вас, и пусть он приведет брата вашего, а вы будете задержаны; и откроется, правда ли у вас; и если нет, токлянусь жизнью фараона, что вы соглядатаи.

17. Ja hän panetti heidät vankeuteen kolmeksi päiväksi.

17. Niin hän pani heidät kiinni kolmeksi päiväksi.

17. Nijn hän pani heidän kijnni colmexi päiwäxi.

17 And he put them all together into confinement three days.

17. And he put them all together into ward three days.

17. Und er ließ sie beisammen verwahren drei Tage lang.

17 И отдал их под стражу на три дня.

18. Mutta kolmantena päivänä Joosef sanoi heille: Jos tahdotte elää, niin tehkää näin, sillä minä olen Jumalaa pelkääväinen:

18. Ja kolmantena päivänä sanoi Joseph heille: jos te tahdotte elää, niin tehkäät näin; sillä minä pelkään Jumalaa.

18. JA colmandena päiwänä sanoi Joseph heille: jos te tahdotta elä nijn tehkät näin sillä minä pelkän Jumalata.

18 And Joseph said to them the third day, Do this and live, (because) I fear God.

18. And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God:

18. Am dritten Tage aber sprach er zu ihnen: Wollt ihr leben, so tut also; denn ich fürchte Gott.

18. Y al tercero día díjoles José: Hacéd esto, y vivíd: Yo temo a Dios.

18 И сказал им Иосиф в третий день: вот что сделайте, и останетесь живы, ибо я боюсь Бога:

19. jos olette rehellisiä miehiä, niin jääköön yksi teistä, veljeksistä, vangiksi vankilaan, jossa teitä säilytettiin, mutta te muut menkää viemään kotiin viljaa perheittenne nälänhätään.

19. Jos te olette vaat, niin antakaat yksi teidän veljistänne olla sidottuna teidän vankihuoneessanne; mutta menkäät te ja viekäät kotia, mitä te ostaneet olette nälkää vastaan kotonanne.

19. Jos te oletta wagat nijn andacat yxi teidän weljistän olla sidottuna fangeuxes mutta mengät te ja wiekät cotia mitä te ostanet oletta nälkä wastan.

19 If you* are true men, let one of your* brothers be bound in your* prison house, but go you*, carry grain for the famine of your* houses,

19. If ye be true men, let one of your brethren be bound in the house of your prison: go ye, carry corn for the famine of your houses:

19. Seid ihr redlich, so laßt eurer Brüder einen gebunden liegen in eurem Gefängnis; ihr aber zieht hin und bringet heim, was ihr gekauft habt für den Hunger.

19. Si sois hombres de verdad, quede preso en la casa de vuestra cárcel uno de vuestros hermanos: y vosotros id, llevád el alimento para la hambre de vuestra casa:

19 если вы люди честные, то один брат из вас пусть содержится в доме, где вы заключены; а вы пойдите, отвезите хлеб, ради голода семейств ваших;

20. Ja tuokaa nuorin veljenne minun luokseni. Jos teidän puheenne siten todeksi vahvistuu, niin vältätte kuoleman. Ja heidän täytyi tehdä niin.

20. Ja tuokaat teidän nuorin veljenne minun tyköni, että teidän sananne todeksi löyttäisiin, ettette kuolisi; ja he tekivät niin.

20. Ja tuocat teidän nuorin weljen minun tygöni nijn minä uscon teidän sanan ettet te cuolis. Ja he teit nijn.

20 and bring your* youngest brother to me. So will your* words be verified and you* will not die. And they did so.

20. But bring your youngest brother unto me; so shall your words be verified, and ye shall not die. And they did so.

20. Und bringt euren jüngsten Bruder zu mir, so will ich euren Worten glauben, daß ihr nicht sterben müßt. Und sie taten also.

20. Y traerme heis a vuestro hermano menor, y serán verificadas vuestras palabras; y no morireis. Y ellos lo hicieron así.

20 брата же вашего меньшого приведите ко мне, чтобы оправдались слова ваши и чтобы не умереть вам. Так они и сделали.

21. Mutta he sanoivat toinen toisellensa: Totisesti, me olemme syylliset sentähden, mitä teimme veljellemme; sillä me näimme hänen sielunsa tuskan, kun hän anoi meiltä armoa, emmekä kuulleet häntä. Sentähden on meille tullut tämä tuska.

21. Mutta he sanoivat toinen toisellensa: me olemme totisesti vianalaiset meidän veljemme tähden; sillä me näimme hänen sielunsa ahdistuksen, koska hän meiltä armoa rukoili, ja emme kuulleet häntä; sentähden on tämä ahdistus meidän päällemme tullut.

21 And they said one to another, We are truly guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the distress of his soul when he besought us and we would not hear. Therefore this distress has come upon us.

21. And they said one to another, We are verily guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress come upon us.

21. Sie aber sprachen untereinander: Das haben wir uns an unserm Bruder verschuldet, daß wir sahen die Angst seiner Seele, da er uns anflehte, und wir wollten ihn nicht erhören; darum kommt nun diese Trübsal über uns.

21. Y decían el uno al otro: Verdaderamente nosotros hemos pecado contra nuestro hermano, que vimos el angustia de su alma, cuando nos rogaba, y no oimos: por eso ha venido sobre nosotros esta angustia.

21 И говорили они друг другу: точно мы наказываемся за грех против брата нашего; мы видели страдание души его, когда он умолял нас, но не послушали; за то и постигло нас горе сие.

22. Ruuben vastasi heille sanoen: Enkö minä sanonut teille: 'Älkää tehkö pahoin nuorukaista vastaan!' Mutta te ette kuulleet minua; katsokaa, nyt kostetaan hänen verensä.

22. Ruben vastasi heitä, sanoen: enkö minä puhunut teille, sanoen: älkäät tehkä vääryyttä nuorukaiselle, ja ette tahtoneet kuulla? Ja nyt hänen verensä meiltä vaaditaan.

22 And Reuben answered them, saying, Did I not speak to you*, saying, Sin not against the child and you* would not hear? Therefore also, behold, his blood is required.

22. And Reuben answered them, saying, Spake I not unto you, saying, Do not sin against the child; and ye would not hear? therefore, behold, also his blood is required.

22. Ruben antwortete ihnen und sprach: Sagte ich's euch nicht, da ich sprach: Versündigt euch nicht an dem Knaben, und ihr wolltet nicht hören? Nun wird sein Blut gefordert.

22. Entónces Ruben les respondió, diciendo: ¿No os lo decía yo, diciendo: No pequéis contra el mozo, y no oisteis? He aquí también su sangre es requerida.

22 Рувим отвечал им и сказал: не говорил ли я вам: не грешите против отрока? но вы не послушались; вот, кровь его взыскивается.

25 Then Joseph commanded to fill their vessels with grain and to restore every man's money into his sack and to give them provisions for the way. And thus it was done to them.

25. Y mandó José que hinchesen sus sacos de trigo, y les volviesen su dinero de cada uno de ellos en su saco, y les diesen comida para el camino: y fué hecho con ellos así.

25 И приказал Иосиф наполнить мешки их хлебом, а серебро их возвратить каждому в мешок его, и дать им запасов на дорогу. Так и сделано с ними.

28. und sprach zu seinen Brüdern: Mein Geld ist mir wieder geworden; siehe, in meinem Sack ist es. Da entfiel ihnen ihr Herz, und sie erschraken untereinander und sprachen: Warum hat uns Gott das getan?

32 нас двенадцать братьев, сыновей у отца нашего; одного не стало, а меньший теперь с отцом нашим в земле Ханаанской.

33. And the man, the lord of the country, said unto us, Hereby shall I know that ye are true men; leave one of your brethren here with me, and take food for the famine of your households, and be gone:

33. sprach der Herr des Landes zu uns: Daran will ich merken, ob ihr redlich seid: Einen eurer Brüder laßt bei mir, und nehmt die Notdurft für euer Haus und zieht hin,

33. Y aquel varón, señor de la tierra, nos dijo: En esto conoceré que sois hombres de verdad: Dejád conmigo el uno de vuestros hermanos, y tomád para la hambre de vuestras casas; y andád,

33 И сказал нам начальствующий над тою землею: вот как узнаю я, честныели вы люди: оставьте у меня одного брата из вас, а вы возьмите хлеб ради голода семействваших и пойдите,

34. Ja menkää ja tuokaa nuorin veljenne luokseni, saadakseni tietää, ettette ole vakoojia, vaan rehellisiä miehiä. Sitten minä annan teille veljenne takaisin, ja te saatte vapaasti liikkua maassa.'

34 and bring your* youngest brother to me. Then I will know that you* are no spies, but that you* are true men. So I will deliver your* brother to you* and you* will trade in the land.

34. And bring your youngest brother unto me: then shall I know that ye are no spies, but that ye are true men: so will I deliver you your brother, and ye shall traffick in the land.

34. und bringt euren jüngsten Bruder zu mir, so merke ich, daß ihr nicht Kundschafter, sondern redlich seid; so will ich euch euren Bruder geben, und ihr mögt im Lande werben.

34. Y traédme a vuestro hermano el menor, para que yo sepa que no sois espiones, sino hombres de verdad, y daros he a vuestro hermano, y negociaréis en la tierra.

34 и приведите ко мне меньшого брата вашего; и узнаю я, что вы не соглядатаи, но люди честные; отдам вам брата вашего, и вы можете промышлять в этой земле.

35. Kun he sitten tyhjensivät säkkinsä, niin katso, kunkin rahakukkaro oli hänen säkissään; ja nähdessään rahakukkaronsa he sekä heidän isänsä peljästyivät.

35 And it happened as they emptied their sacks, that, behold, every man's bundle of money was in his sack. And when they and their father saw their bundles of money, they were afraid.

35. Und da sie die Säcke ausschütteten, fand ein jeglicher sein Bündlein Geld in seinem Sack. Und da sie sahen, daß es Bündlein ihres Geldes waren, erschraken sie samt ihrem Vater.

35. Y aconteció, que vaciando ellos sus sacos, he aquí que en el saco de cada uno estaba el trapo de su dinero: y viendo ellos y su padre los trapos de sus dineros, tuvieron temor.

35 Когда же они опорожняли мешки свои, вот, у каждого узел серебра его в мешке его. Иувидели они узлы серебра своего, они и отец их, и испугались.

36. Ja heidän isänsä Jaakob sanoi heille: Te teette minut lapsettomaksi; Joosefia ei enää ole, Simeonia ei enää ole, ja Benjamininkin te tahdotte viedä minulta; kaikki tämä kohtaa minua.

36 And Jacob their father said to them, You* have bereaved me of my sons. Joseph is not and Simeon is not and you* will take Benjamin {Son of the Right} away. All these things are against me.

36. And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children: Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and ye will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me.

36. Da sprach Jakob, ihr Vater, zu ihnen: Ihr beraubt mich meiner Kinder; Joseph ist nicht mehr vorhanden, Simeon ist nicht mehr vorhanden, Benjamin wollt ihr hinnehmen; es geht alles über mich.

36. Entónces su padre Jacob les dijo: Deshijádome habéis: José no parece, y Simeón no parece, y a Benjamín tomaréis: sobre mí son todas estas cosas.

36 И сказал им Иаков, отец их: вы лишили меня детей: Иосифа нет, и Симеона нет, и Вениамина взять хотите, – все это на меня!

37. Ruuben vastasi isälleen sanoen: Saat surmata minun molemmat poikani, jos en tuo häntä sinulle takaisin; anna hänet minun huostaani, niin minä tuon hänet sinulle takaisin.

37 And Reuben spoke to his father, saying, Kill my two sons if I do not bring him to you. Deliver him into my hand and I will bring him to you again.

37. And Reuben spake unto his father, saying, Slay my two sons, if I bring him not to thee: deliver him into my hand, and I will bring him to thee again.

37. Ruben antwortete seinem Vater und sprach: Wenn ich dir ihn nicht wiederbringe, so erwürge meine zwei Söhne; gib ihn nur in meine Hand, ich will ihn dir wiederbringen.

37. Y Ruben habló a su padre, diciendo: Mis dos hijos harás morir, si no te lo volviere: dále en mi mano, que yo le volveré a tí.

37 И сказал Рувим отцу своему, говоря: убей двух моихсыновей, если я не приведу его к тебе; отдай его на мои руки; я возвращу его тебе.

38. Mutta hän sanoi: Ei minun poikani saa lähteä teidän kanssanne, sillä hänen veljensä on kuollut, ja hän on yksin jäljellä; jos onnettomuus kohtaa häntä matkalla, jolle aiotte lähteä, niin te saatatte minun harmaat hapseni vaipumaan murheella tuonelaan.

38. Hän sanoi: ei minun poikani pidä menemän alas teidän kanssanne: sillä hänen veljensä on kuollut, ja hän on jäänyt yksin, ja jos hänelle tapahtuis jotakin pahaa tiellä, jota te vaellatte, niin te saatatte minun harmaat karvani murheella hautaan.

38. And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.

38. Er sprach: Mein Sohn soll nicht mit euch hinabziehen, denn sein Bruder ist tot, und er ist allein übriggeblieben; wenn ihm ein Unfall auf dem Wege begegnete, den ihr reiset, würdet ihr meine grauen Haare mit Herzeleid in die Grube bringen.

38. Y él dijo: No descenderá mi hijo con vosotros: que su hermano es muerto, y él solo ha quedado: y si le aconteciere algún desastre en el camino donde vais, haréis descender mis canas con dolor a la sepultura.

38 Он сказал: не пойдет сын мой с вами; потому что брат его умер, и онодин остался; если случится с ним несчастье на пути, в который вы пойдете, то сведете вы седину мою с печалью во гроб.
