17 luku

Elia ennustaa kuivuutta ja kätkeytyy Keritin purolle. Elia asuu Sarpatin lesken luona ja herättää hänen poikansa henkiin.

1. Tisbeläinen Elia, eräs Gileadiin asettuneita siirtolaisia, sanoi Ahabille: Niin totta kuin Herra, Israelin Jumala, elää, jonka edessä minä seison: näinä vuosina ei tule kastetta eikä sadetta muutoin kuin minun sanani kautta.

1. Ja Elia Tisbiläinen Gileadin asuja sanoi Ahabille: niin totta kuin Herra Israelin Jumala elää, jonka edessä minä seison, ei pidä näillä vuorilla kastetta eikä sadetta tuleman, muutoin kuin minun sanani jälkeen.

1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the travelers of Gilead, said to Ahab, As Jehovah, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, there will not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

1. And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

1. Und es sprach Elia, der Thisbiter, aus den Bürgern Gileads, zu Ahab: So wahr der HERR, der Gott Israels, lebt, vor dem ich stehe, es soll diese Jahre weder Tau noch Regen kommen, ich sage es denn.

1. ENTÓNCES Elías Tesbita, que era de los moradores de Galaad, dijo a Acab: Vive Jehová Dios de Israel, delante del cual yo estoy, que no habrá lluvia, ni roció en estos años, sino por mi palabra.

1 И сказал Илия Фесвитянин, из жителей Галаадских, Ахаву: жив Господь Бог Израилев, пред Которым я стою! в сии годы не будет ни росы, ни дождя, разве только по моему слову.

3. Mene pois täältä ja käänny itään päin ja kätkeydy Keritin purolle, joka on Jordanin itäpuolella.

3 You get from here and turn eastward and hide yourself by the brook Cherith that is before the Jordan.

3. Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

3. Gehe weg von hinnen und wende dich gegen Morgen und verbirg dich am Bach Krith, der gegen den Jordan fließt;

3. Apártate de aquí, y vuélvete al oriente, y escóndete en el arroyo de Carit, que está ántes del Jordan.

3 пойди отсюда и обратись на восток и скройся у потока Хорафа, что против Иордана;

4. Sinä saat juoda purosta, ja minä olen käskenyt kaarneiden elättää sinua siellä.

4. Ja sinun pitää juoman ojasta: ja minä olen käskenyt kaarnetten elättää sinua siellä.

4. Ja sinun pitä juoman ojasta ja minä olen käskenyt Carnetten elättä sinua siellä.

4 And it will be, that you will drink of the brook and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.

4. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.

4. und sollst vom Bach trinken; und ich habe den Raben geboten, daß sie dich daselbst sollen versorgen.

4. Y beberás del arroyo, y yo he mandado a los cuervos, que te den allí de comer.

4 из этого потока ты будешь пить, а воронам Я повелел кормить тебя там.

5. Niin hän meni ja teki Herran sanan mukaan: hän meni ja asettui Keritin purolle, joka on Jordanin itäpuolella.

5. Hän meni ja teki Herran sanan jälkeen, ja meni istui Keritin ojan tykönä, joka on Jordanin kohdalla.

5 So he went and did according to the word of Jehovah, for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith that is before the Jordan.

5. Er aber ging hin und tat nach dem Wort des HERRN und ging weg und setzte sich am Bach Krith, der gegen den Jordan fließt.

5. Y él fué, e hizo conforme a la palabra de Jehová: y fuése y asentó junto al arroyo de Carit, que está ántes del Jordán.

5 И пошел он и сделал по слову Господню; пошел и остался у потока Хорафа, что против Иордана.

6. Ja kaarneet toivat hänelle leipää ja lihaa aamuin sekä leipää ja lihaa illoin, ja hän joi purosta.

6. Y los cuervos le traían pan y carne por la mañana, y pan y carne a la tarde, y bebía del arroyo.

6 И вороны приносили ему хлеб и мясо поутру, и хлеб и мясо по вечеру, а из потока он пил.

7. Mutta jonkun ajan kuluttua puro kuivui, koska siinä maassa ei ollut satanut.

7. Ja monikahtain päiväin perästä kuivui oja; sillä ei ollut sadetta maakunnassa.

7 And it happened after a while, that the brook dried up because there was no rain in the land.

7. And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

7. Und es geschah nach etlicher Zeit, daß der Bach vertrocknete; denn es war kein Regen im Lande.

7. Pasados algunos dias, el arroyo se secó; porque no había llovido sobre la tierra.

7 По прошествии некоторого времени этот поток высох, ибо не было дождя на землю.

8. Ja hänelle tuli tämä Herran sana:

8 And the word of Jehovah came to him, saying,

9. Nouse ja mene Sarpatiin, joka on Siidonin aluetta, ja asetu sinne. Katso, minä olen käskenyt leskivaimon elättää sinua siellä.

9. Nouse ja mene Sarpatiin, joka Sidonin tykönä on, ja pysy siellä: katso, minä olen käskenyt leskivaimon sinua siellä elättää.

9 Arise, get you to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to sustain you.

9. Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

9. Mache dich auf und gehe gen Zarpath, welches bei Sidon liegt, und bleibe daselbst; denn ich habe einer Witwe geboten, daß sie dich versorge.

9. Levántate, véte a Sarepta de Sidón, y allí morarás: he aquí que yo he mandado allí a una mujer viuda que te sustente.

9 встань и пойди в Сарепту Сидонскую, и оставайся там; Я повелел там женщине вдове кормить тебя.

10. Niin hän nousi ja meni Sarpatiin. Ja kun hän tuli kaupungin portille, niin katso, siellä oli leskivaimo keräilemässä puita. Hän huusi tälle ja sanoi: Tuo minulle vähän vettä astiassa juodakseni.

10. Ja hän nousi ja meni Sarpatiin; ja kuin hän kaupungin porttiin tuli, katso, leskivaimo oli siellä ja haki puita, ja hän puhui hänelle, sanoen: tuo minulle vähä vettä astiassa juodakseni.

10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, I beseech you, fetch me a little water in a vessel that I may drink.

10. So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

10. Und er machte sich auf und ging gen Zarpath. Und da er kam an das Tor der Stadt, siehe, da war eine Witwe und las Holz auf. Und er rief ihr und sprach: Hole mir ein wenig Wasser im Gefäß, daß ich trinke!

10. Entónces él se levantó; y se fué a Sarepta. Y como llegó a la puerta de la ciudad, he aquí una mujer viuda que estaba allí cogiendo serojas: y él la llamó, y díjole: Ruégote que me traigas una poca de agua en un vaso, que beba.

10 И встал он и пошел в Сарепту; и когда пришел к воротам города, вот, там женщина вдова собирает дрова. И подозвал он ее и сказал: дай мне немного воды в сосуде напиться.

11. Kun hän meni hakemaan, huusi hän hänelle ja sanoi: Tuo minulle myös palanen leipää kädessäsi.

11. Kuin hän meni tuomaan, huusi hän häntä ja sanoi: tuo myös minulle pala leipää kädessäs.

11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her and said, I beseech you, bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.

11. And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.

11. Da sie aber hinging, zu holen, rief er ihr und sprach: Bringe mir auch einen Bissen Brot mit!

11. Y yendo ella para traérsela, él la volvió a llamar, y díjole: Ruégote que me traigas también un bocado de pan en tu mano.

11 И пошла она, чтобы взять; а он закричал вслед ей и сказал: возьми для меня и кусок хлеба в руки свои.

12. Mutta hän vastasi: Niin totta kuin Herra, sinun Jumalasi, elää, minulla ei ole leipäkakkuakaan, vaan ainoastaan kourallinen jauhoja ruukussa ja vähän öljyä astiassa. Ja katso, kerättyäni pari puuta minä menen leipomaan itselleni ja pojalleni, syödäksemme ja sitten kuollaksemme.

12. Hän sanoi: niin totta kuin Herra sinun Jumalas elää, ei ole minulla leipää, mutta pivo jauhoja vakkaisessa ja vähä öljyä astiassa: ja katso, minä kokoon kaksi puuta ja menen valmistamaan itselleni ja pojalleni, syödäksemme ja sitte kuollaksemme.

12. Hän sanoi: nijn totta cuin HERra sinun Jumalas elä ei ole minulla leipä mutta pio jauhoja wackaises ja wähä öljyä astias: ja cadzo minä cocon yhden puun eli caxi ja menen sitä walmistaman minulleni ja minun pojalleni syödäxem ja cuollaxem.

12 And she said, As Jehovah your God lives, I do not have a cake, but a handful of meal in the pitcher and a little oil in the jar. And behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son that we may eat it and die.

12. And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

12. Sie sprach: So wahr der HERR, dein Gott, lebt, ich habe nichts gebackenes, nur eine Handvoll Mehl im Kad und ein wenig Öl im Krug. Und siehe, ich habe ein Holz oder zwei aufgelesen und gehe hinein und will mir und meinem Sohn zurichten, daß wir essen und sterben.

12. Y ella respondió: Vive Jehová Dios tuyo, que no tengo pan cocido: que solamente un púño de harina tengo en la tinaja, y un poco de aceite en una botija: y ahora cogía dos serojas, para entrarme y aparejarlo para mí y para mi hijo, y que lo comamos, y después nos muramos.

12 Она сказала: жив Господь Бог твой! у меня ничего нет печеного, а только есть горсть муки в кадке и немного масла в кувшине; и вот, я наберу полена двадров, и пойду, и приготовлю это для себя и для сына моего; съедим это и умрем.

13. Niin Elia sanoi hänelle: Älä pelkää; mene ja tee, niinkuin olet sanonut. Mutta leivo minulle ensin pieni kaltiainen ja tuo se minulle. Leivo sitten itsellesi ja pojallesi.

13. Ja Elia sanoi hänelle: älä pelkää, mene ja tee niinkuin sinä sanonut olet; kuitenkin leivo minulle vähä kyrsäinen siitä ensin ja tuo minulle; mutta itselles ja pojalles pitää myös sinun siitä sen jälkeen tekemän:

13 And Elijah said to her, Do not fear, go and do as you have said. But make me of it a little cake first and bring it forth to me and afterward make for you and for your son.

13. And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

13. Elia sprach zu ihr: Fürchte dich nicht! Gehe hin und mach's, wie du gesagt hast. Doch mache mir am ersten ein kleines Gebackenes davon und bringe mir's heraus; dir aber und deinem Sohn sollst du darnach auch machen.

13. Y Elías le dijo: No hayas temor: vé, haz como has dicho; empero házme a mí primero de ahí una pequeña torta debajo de la ceniza y traémela: y después harás para tí y para tu hijo.

13 И сказал ей Илия: не бойся, пойди, сделай, что тысказала; но прежде из этого сделай небольшой опреснок для меня и принеси мне; а для себяи для своего сына сделаешь после;

14. Sillä näin sanoo Herra, Israelin Jumala: Jauhot eivät lopu ruukusta, eikä öljyä ole puuttuva astiasta siihen päivään asti, jona Herra antaa sateen maan päälle.

14. Sillä näin sanoo Herra Israelin Jumala: Ei jauhot vakkaisesta pidä loppuman ja öljy astiasta ei pidä puuttuman, siihen päivään asti kuin Herra antaa sataa maan päälle.

14. Sillä nijn sano HERra Israelin Jumala: ettei jauhot wackaisest pidä loppuman ja öljy astiast ei pidä puuttuman sijhen päiwään että HERra anda sata maan päälle.

14 For Jehovah says thus, the God of Israel, The pitcher of meal will not be used up, neither will the jar of oil fail, until the day that Jehovah sends rain upon the earth.

14. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

14. Denn also spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Das Mehl im Kad soll nicht verzehrt werden, und dem Ölkrug soll nichts mangeln bis auf den Tag, da der HERR regnen lassen wird auf Erden.

14. Porque Jehová Dios de Israel dijo así: La tinaja de la harina no faltará, ni la botija del aceite se disminuirá, hasta aquel día en que Jehová dará lluvia sobre la haz de la tierra.

14 ибо так говорит Господь Бог Израилев: мука в кадке не истощится, и масло в кувшине не убудет до того дня, когда Господь даст дождь на землю.

15. Niin hän meni ja teki, niinkuin Elia oli sanonut. Ja hänellä sekä myös Elialla ja vaimon perheellä oli syötävää pitkäksi aikaa.

15. Ja hän meni ja teki niinkuin Elia puhunut oli. Ja hän söi ja myös vaimo perheinensä kauvan aikaa.

15. Hän teki nijncuin Elia puhunut oli ja meni. Ja hän söi ja myös waimo perheinens cauwan aica.

15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah. And she and he and her house, ate (many) days.

15. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

15. Sie ging hin und machte, wie Elia gesagt hatte. Und er aß und sie auch und ihr Haus eine Zeitlang.

15. Entónces ella fué, e hizo como le dijo Elías, y comió él, y ella, y su casa algunos dias.

15 И пошла она и сделала так, как сказал Илия; и кормилась она, и он,и дом ее несколько времени.

16. Jauhot eivät loppuneet ruukusta, eikä öljyä puuttunut astiasta, sen Herran sanan mukaan, jonka hän oli Elian kautta puhunut.

16. Ei jauhot loppuneet vakkaisesta eikä öljy astiasta, Herran sanan jälkeen, jonka hän Elian kautta puhunut oli.

16. Ja ei jauhot loppunet wackaisest eikä öljy astiast HERran sanan jälken cuin hän Elian cautta puhunut oli.

16 The pitcher of meal was not used up, neither did the jar of oil fail, according to the word of Jehovah, which he spoke by Elijah.

16. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

16. Das Mehl im Kad ward nicht verzehrt, und dem Ölkrug mangelte nichts nach dem Wort des HERRN, daß er geredet hatte durch Elia.

16. Y la tinaja de la harina nunca faltó, ni la botija del aceite menguó, conforme a la palabra de Jehová, que había dicho por Elías.

16 Мука в кадке не истощалась, и масло в кувшине не убывало, по слову Господа, которое Он изрек чрез Илию.

17. Sen jälkeen vaimon, talon emännän, poika sairastui; ja hänen tautinsa kävi hyvin kovaksi, niin ettei hänessä enää ollut henkeä.

17. Sen jälkeen tapahtui, että perheen emännän poika sairasti, ja hänen sairautensa oli niin raskas, ettei henkeä hänessä silleen ollut.

17. SIitte sairasti perhen emännän poica ja hänen sairaudens oli nijn rascas ettei henge hänes sillen ollut.

17 And it happened after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick and his sickness was so severe that there was no breath left in him.

17. And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.

17. Und nach diesen Geschichten ward des Weibes, seiner Hauswirtin, Sohn krank, und seine Krankheit war sehr hart, daß kein Odem mehr in ihm blieb.

17. Después de estas cosas aconteció, que cayó enfermo el hijo de la señora de la casa, y la enfermedad fué tan grave, que no quedó en él resuello.

17 После этого заболел сын этой женщины, хозяйки дома, и болезнь егобыла так сильна, что не осталось в нем дыхания.

18. Silloin vaimo sanoi Elialle: Mitä minulla on tekemistä sinun kanssasi, Jumalan mies? Sinä olet tullut minun luokseni saattamaan minun pahat tekoni muistoon ja tuottamaan kuoleman minun pojalleni.

18. Ja hän sanoi Elialle: mitä minulla on sinun kanssas, sinä Jumalan mies? Sinä olet tullut minun tyköni, että minun pahatekoni muistettaisiin ja minun poikani kuolis.

18. Ja hän sanoi Elialle: mitä minun on sinun cansas tekemist sinä Jumalan mies? sinä olet tullut minun tygöni että minun pahateconi muistetaisin ja minun poican cuolis?

18 And she said to Elijah, What have I to do with you, O you man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance and to kill my son!

18. And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?

18. Und sie sprach zu Elia: Was habe ich mit dir zu schaffen, du Mann Gottes? Bist du zu mir hereingekommen, daß meiner Missetat gedacht und mein Sohn getötet würde.

18. Y ella dijo a Elías: ¿Qué tengo yo contigo varón de Dios? ¿Has venido a mí para traer en memoria mis iniquidades, y para hacerme morir mi hijo?

18 И сказала она Илии: что мне и тебе, человек Божий? ты пришел ко мне напомнить грехи мои и умертвить сына моего.

19. Mutta hän sanoi hänelle: Anna poikasi minulle. Ja hän otti tämän hänen sylistään ja vei hänet yliskammioon, jossa asui, ja pani hänet vuoteellensa.

19. Hän sanoi hänelle: tuo minulle poikas. Ja hän otti hänet, hänen sylistänsä, ja vei hänen ylistupaan, kussa hän asui, ja pani hänen omaan vuoteesensa,

19 And he said to her, Give me your son. And he took him out of her bosom and carried him up into the chamber where he abode and laid him upon his own bed.

19. And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.

19. Er sprach zu ihr: Gib mir her deinen Sohn! Und er nahm ihn von ihrem Schoß und ging hinauf auf den Söller, da er wohnte, und legte ihn auf sein Bett

19. Y él le dijo: Dáme acá tu hijo: entónces él le tomó de su regazo, y le llevó a la cámara donde él estaba, y púsole sobre su cama;

19 И сказал он ей: дай мне сына твоего. И взял его с рук ее, и понес его в горницу, где он жил, и положил его на свою постель,

20. Ja hän huusi Herraa ja sanoi: Herra, minun Jumalani, oletko tehnyt niin pahoin tätä leskeä kohtaan, jonka vieraana minä olen, että olet surmannut hänen poikansa?

20. Ja huusi Herran tykö ja sanoi: Herra minun Jumalani! oletkos niin pahoin tehnyt tätä leskeä vastaan, jonka tykönä minä holhotaan, ettäs tapat hänen poikansa?

20. Ja huusi HERran tygö ja sanoi: HERra minun Jumalan oletkos nijn pahoin tehnyt tätä leske wastan jonga tykönä minä holhotan ettäs tapat hänen poicans?

20 And he cried to Jehovah and said, O Jehovah my God, have you also brought evil upon the widow with whom I journey by slaying her son?

20. And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?

20. und rief den HERRN an und sprach: HERR, mein Gott, hast du auch der Witwe, bei der ich ein Gast bin, so übel getan, daß du ihren Sohn tötetest?

20. Y clamando a Jehová, dijo: ¿Jehová Dios mío, aun la viuda en cuya casa yo soy hospedado, has afligido, matándole su hijo?

20 и воззвал к Господу и сказал: Господи Боже мой! неужели Ты и вдове,у которой я пребываю, сделаешь зло, умертвив сына ее?

21. Sitten hän ojentautui pojan yli kolme kertaa, huusi Herraa ja sanoi: Herra, minun Jumalani, anna tämän pojan sielun tulla häneen takaisin.

21. Ja hän ojensi itsensä kolmasti nuorukaisen päälle, ja huusi Herran tykö ja sanoi: Herra minun Jumalani, anna tämän nuorukaisen sielu tulla häneen jällensä!

21. Ja hän ojensi idzens colmasti nuorucaisen päälle ja huusi HERran tygö ja sanoi: HERra minun Jumalan anna tämän nuorucaisen sielu tulla häneen jällens.

21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times and cried to Jehovah and said, O Jehovah my God, I beseech you, let this child's soul come into him again.

21. And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.

21. Und er maß sich über dem Kinde dreimal und rief den HERRN an und sprach: HERR, mein Gott, laß die Seele dieses Kindes wieder zu ihm kommen!

21. Y midióse sobre el niño tres veces, y clamó a Jehová, y dijo: Jehová Dios mío, ruégote que vuelva el alma de este niño a sus entrañas.

21 И простершись над отроком трижды, он воззвал к Господу и сказал: Господи Боже мой! да возвратится душа отрока сего в него!

22. Ja Herra kuuli Eliaa, ja pojan sielu tuli häneen takaisin, ja hän virkosi henkiin.

22 And Jehovah listened to the voice of Elijah and the soul of the child came into him again and he revived.

22. And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.

22. Und der HERR erhörte die Stimme Elia's; und die Seele des Kindes kam wieder zu ihm, und es ward lebendig.

22. Y Jehová oyó la voz de Elías, y el alma del niño volvió a sus entrañas, y revivió.

22 И услышал Господь голос Илии, и возвратилась душа отрока сего в него, и он ожил.

23 And Elijah took the child and brought him down out of the chamber into the house and delivered him to his mother. And Elijah said, See, your son lives.

23. Und Elia nahm das Kind und brachte es hinab vom Söller ins Haus und gab's seiner Mutter und sprach: Siehe da, dein Sohn lebt!

23. Y tomando Elías al niño, trájole de la cámara a la casa, y dióle a su madre, y díjole Elías: Mira, tu hijo vive.

23 И взял Илия отрока, и свел его из горницы в дом, и отдал его матери его, и сказал Илия: смотри, сын твой жив.

24. Niin vaimo sanoi Elialle: Nyt minä tiedän, että sinä olet Jumalan mies ja että Herran sana sinun suussasi on tosi.

24. Ja vaimo sanoi Elialle: nyt minä ymmärrän, ettäs olet Jumalan mies, Herran sana on tosi sinun suussas.

24. Ja waimo sanoi Elialle: nyt minä ymmärrän ettäs olet Jumalan mies ja HERran sana on tosi sinun suusas.

24 And the woman said to Elijah, Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of Jehovah in your mouth is truth.

24. And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.

24. Und das Weib sprach zu Elia: Nun erkenne ich, daß du ein Mann Gottes bist, und des HERRN Wort in deinem Munde ist Wahrheit.

24. Entónces la mujer dijo a Elías: Yo conozco ahora que tú eres varón de Dios: y que la palabra de Jehová es verdad en tu boca.

24 И сказала та женщина Илии: теперь-то я узнала, что ты человек Божий,и что слово Господне в устах твоих истинно.
