4 And Heshbon cries out and Elealeh. Their voice is heard even to Jahaz. Therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud. His soul trembles within him.

4. And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him.

4. Hesbon und Eleale schreien, daß man's zu Jahza hört. Darum wehklagen die Gerüsteten in Moab; denn es geht ihrer Seele übel.

4 И вопит Есевон и Елеала; голос их слышится до самой Иаацы; за нимии воины Моава рыдают; душа его возмущена в нем.

5. My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction.

5. Mein Herz schreit über Moab, seine Flüchtigen fliehen bis gen Zoar, bis zum dritten Eglath. Denn sie gehen gen Luhith hinan und weinen, und auf dem Wege nach Horonaim zu erhebt sich ein Jammergeschrei.

6 For the waters of Nimrim will be desolate, for the grass is withered away. The tender grass fails. There is no green thing.

6 потому что воды Нимрима иссякли, луга засохли, трава выгорела, не стало зелени.

7. Sentähden he kantavat hankkimansa säästön ja tallettamansa tavaran Pajupuron yli.

8 For the cry has gone all around the borders of Moab, the wailing of it to Eglaim and the wailing of it to Beer-elim.

8 Ибо вопль по всем пределам Моава, до Эглаима плач его и до Беэр-Елима плач его;

9. Sillä Diimonin vedet ovat verta täynnä, ja vielä muutakin minä tuotan Diimonille: leijonan Mooabin pelastettujen ja maahan jääneitten kimppuun.

9. Että Dimonin vedet ovat verta täynnä. Siihen minä tahdon vielä enempi antaa tulla Dimonin päälle, ja myös heidän päällensä, jotka Moabin jalopeuralta päässeet ovat, ja jääneiden päälle maassa.

9 For the waters of Dimon are full of blood. For I will bring yet more upon Dimon, a lion upon those of Moab who escape and upon the remnant of the land.

9. For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapeth of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.

9. Denn die Wasser zu Dimon sind voll Blut. Dazu will ich über Dimon noch mehr kommen lassen, über die, so erhalten sind in Moab, einen Löwen, und über die übrigen im Lande.

9. Porque las aguas de Dimón se henchirán de sangre; porque yo pondré sobre Dimón añadidura, leones a los que escaparen de Moab, y a los residuos de la tierra.

9 потому что воды Димона наполнились кровью, и Я наведу на Димон еще новое – львов на убежавших из Моава и на оставшихся в стране.
